I recently opened my WC57 S2 with Patton and driver. This set does not include dog Willi.
At sshq database there is picture of this set with the dog in the car. Anybody know if this is just for the picture or did one come in the set.
Also it seems difficult to find a WC51 that doesn't have damage. What is with the plastic, very brittle or what. I think I will make the canopy rails from scratch as they break quite easy.

The version you describe should come with the dog, though, given 21c's perchant for QC issues, I would not be surprised if it was not included...

The WC-57s and WC-52s (in particular) had a tendency for broken parts. The models were designed quite accurately and with many fragile pieces that did not ship too well in the 21c style boxes.

I did not take the twist ties off and I looked under the vehicle and it is there. I forgot they put stuff under the vehicles in a small area.
I have not been able to locate the WC57 S3 version with the 2 paratroopers. Is this one rare?

i think the one with the paras was only in that boxed set of marrels mauraders (spelling) with the truck and other paras.

I have a unopened Merrills Marauders. This does come with the WC57 but not the same as the version with the 2 paras.

I just recently found an etailer (thanks to one of our members) who had the WC-51 in stock. I bought two and not only were the boxes unmarked but the vehicles were perfect and at $29 per.

Still good stuff out there at very reasonable prices.

Before you ask, all the guy has left of 21C stock are the German HT with 7.5cm gun for $38 and the 7.5cm gun for $32.

The Marauder set with WC-57 and the WC-63 are a neat and very rare set. BTW - The set comes with what is supposed to be a detachment of raiders (volunteers for the special mission), they were not paras.

I'm kicking myself for not getting the Command Car when they were being blown out at Monkey Depot last year for $15.

I ordered 3 from a business in New York. I believe this is the same place you bought yours TTT. The last one I got from him was totally broken. I did get some good things from him including WC63.

The last one I ordered was a mess. The shipping box and 21C box were flawless, but the WC51 was in pieces. I contacted the etailer and he told me that this was not uncommon with some of 21C vehicles. The bitter cold weather during shipping did not help I'm sure. I believe the 21C jeeps had similar issues.

right, in reality they weren't paras, but the figures are pretty much the exact same as the original OMG US paras, just the colors are a little different. i remember somebody, harvey i think it was, that was offering one of the sets a while back.....he also had a set of DAK, OMG and BOB figures too. i remember i really wanted the MM set but somebody got to it before me so i just picked up the DAK set.
