A Bridge!

Post by Quixote511 » Mon Jun 13, 2005 2:28 pm

Ok----that bridge is daamn cool. I gave up hope on 21st ever making one a while back. I can say that I am about bowled over by it. I think I will need a couple, how about you all? Now, if PTE would only make the Viet/Jap/Tropical hut.

Unfortunately, PTE is getting like XD. We know they have good stuff coming, but WHEN?!?!?

I really like the niche market PTE is making stuff for. Bridges, bunks, howitzers - not the usual fair. Hope these start showing up at KB soon.

That bridge has alot of possibilities, and its wooden construction gives it the ability to look good in any dio from WWII to Modern. Then the bunks and foollocker are also quite interesting. One could make a bootcamp dio...

The Bunks/Lockers are something I've looked forward to since I first saw pics. That's a set I want a lot of to do a Stormtrooper's at ease diorama some day... Lots of possibilities for that set beyond Earth military... Very nice.

Thanks for the pics!

VN HUT aka Land of the lost playset

Post by Razor17019 » Tue Jun 14, 2005 5:31 am

There is an Ebay auction for a almost complete set.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... Track=true

Mine was only the hut without accessories.
I found mine in a Goodwill store and tore off the legs to convert it into a hut. The windows pop out and are supported by small sticks to stay open.
It really looks like a Vietnam hut.
I like Centone's ideal of buiding a large hut with the bridge.

Don't we have anyone with contacts that could get us more intel on this line of products??

I found this REALLY interesting

If you look through the other reviews, it looks like M&C sent this guy a bunch of stuff in May to review. Maybe the drought is over and we'll see some aggresive marketing of these new sets. I hope so - I really want that bridge.
