E-Bay Recon Thread

Post by p51 » Wed Jun 08, 2005 4:22 pm

Had an idea today, why not start a recon thread on good/rare 1:18 E-Bay finds!

21st Blue Nosed P-51 Mustang (a bit pricey, nearly impossible to find) - http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 28272&rd=1

Not sure which one, but I believe it's one of the original P-38s (via the packaging) - http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 99945&rd=1

The P-38 is the first one with D-day stripes like on the box.
It's hard to justify a Mustang right now with what we all know is coming.... :D

there are some great photos of some "custom" stuff; marines w/ repaints (camo scheme looks awfull) and they have a pic of a panzer w/ zimeritt looking armor, among other things.

Very good idea!!! EBAY has some unique things up for auction and I'm beginning to see more customized items being offered.

I agree with digger. Its hard to justify buying that Mustang off Ebay with whats coming. Like the two new repaints of BBI's Mustangs in August. Oh yea and that on again off again release of the new tool 21st Mustang. Gee to think I almost forgot that one. Not to hard to forget especially when 21st keeps delaying the thing.

But someday right? :?

Hey, give 21st a break. At least we have info and photos of things they are going to release... I can't seem to find any photos of upcoming bbi new releases... hmmm... just repaints, which according to many people complaining on the '4 for Victory' thread, we're all tired of!

One- Ok p51 I 'll give them a break and two the reason you dont see anything about the BBI repaints is because they are an exclusive to Bad Cat.
