I opened up my DWK Spitfire for display the other day and noticed the lower wing roundrels missing. Are they all like that? I don't recall if they were or not.

Re: DWK Spitfire: Are all missing the lower wing roundrels?
I believe the roundels are missing on all the planes as mine does not have the roundels, either. That omission was a shock to me as well when I got my 610 Sq DWK Spitfire a few years ago. However, I believe this omission is accurate. If you look at the 610 Sq Spitfire profile on your webshots website, you can clearly see no roundel under the wing. It is exactly like this profile I found of another 610 Spit:
You may also notice that the oversized fuselage roundels are not lined up with each other as they would be on other planes. As near as I can tell, this may also be accurate given the size and spread of the ID lettering.
In any event, it is still pretty cool that you even had a NIB Spitfire to open up. Be sure to save the box

Interesting. I looked at some other profiles from the same plane, and they had them on. You are probably correct, though.
