It's interesting (and a good sign if true) that BBI is re-issuing this bird:

Maybe a new scheme of say, the F-16, in T-bird colors is still a possibility?

Great to see BBI releasing anything in 1/18.
Even a Corsair repaint.

Gives us hope that they might do some repaints of the F-16 and/or F-18.
Given what these are selling for on Ebay, and the cost of the JSI F-14,seems like there is a demand for these.

Thunderbirds would be cool, but hard to do properly.

Not too hard to do, it looks like they had prototypes ready to roll:

Scroll down to see the Tbird and F16/F18 Aggressor.

Dave is pretty good and keeping his site updated. I order quite abit of stuff from him. For years he was my only Marushin fix.

This is a nice one, and if does get re-released will be good for the guys just getting into the hobby. Selfishly though, I hope for a new scheme.

I don’t want to shatter anyone’s hopes but these are not new production but old stock lying around in China that has finally made its way here.

“Old production of bbi second series of the F4u is here and we have special on them for $47.99”

Yeah, my first thought was "probably just like the BBI Pavehawk batch they found stashed away somewhere last year." Wonder how many Chinese warehouses have some "hidden stash" in them of other models.

China must have a lot of warehouses like the ending of Raiders of the Lost Ark

That are either being re-issued or some old stock has been found. They will be available again next month.

That is new, the old marines scheme doesn't have the red stars and bars on the wing and says "marines" in its place

I remember this picture on Aiken's site back in January when looking for pictures of my Marines Checkerboard scheme.

The current picture on Aiken's site has been there for sometime.

I've seen a few on ebay lately. Most of them are showing the stock photo with the red stripe.

Is this a 1945 scheme? Or Post-War?
No usual explanation of the scheme from Badcat either.

Isn't it kind of inaccurate with the 3 blade propeller anyways?
