BBI Marine Corsair
It's interesting (and a good sign if true) that BBI is re-issuing this bird:

Maybe a new scheme of say, the F-16, in T-bird colors is still a possibility?

Great to see BBI releasing anything in 1/18.
Even a Corsair repaint.
Gives us hope that they might do some repaints of the F-16 and/or F-18.
Given what these are selling for on Ebay, and the cost of the JSI F-14,seems like there is a demand for these.
Thunderbirds would be cool, but hard to do properly.

Not too hard to do, it looks like they had prototypes ready to roll:

Yeah, my first thought was "probably just like the BBI Pavehawk batch they found stashed away somewhere last year." Wonder how many Chinese warehouses have some "hidden stash" in them of other models.Aviatornut.com wrote:I don’t want to shatter anyone’s hopes but these are not new production but old stock lying around in China that has finally made its way here.
“Old production of bbi second series of the F4u is here and we have special on them for $47.99”
"Where's dat waskily wabbit?"

I've seen a few on ebay lately. Most of them are showing the stock photo with the red stripe.
Is this a 1945 scheme? Or Post-War?
No usual explanation of the scheme from Badcat either.
Isn't it kind of inaccurate with the 3 blade propeller anyways?
