but yikes the price. That's just for a prepainted body kit, with very little mechanicals, so i don't know if it will be available for much cheaper. May be a tad over 1/18 scale, dimensions are apparently not quite finalized. Needs to be 44 1/2 inches fuselage length to be exactly 1/18 and from what they've shown it's going to be about 46 inches i guesstimate.
Despite the price i may have to get one. Having a big vietnam sea stallion hoisting up a downed pilot has been a dream of mine for 9 years.

I'd love to get a CH-53E Super Stallion, but that's a bit much for my price range unless I was going to use it for RC purposes. And even then, I'm surprised they (what appears) are adding Cobra style ski rails instead of the Super Stallion's wheels.
They have several versions of the CH-53 shown, I wonder which one they are actually doing. I'm still waiting for the day a good Marine CH-53E Super Stallion (aside from the uber expensive museum quality model) comes out in some scale. They have one CH-53 'toy' out right now, but it's cheaply made, the entire plane is green and blue camo with no other color detailing, and it's cheaply made.

There is this:

But still not what I'm looking for. Most wood models seem to lack detail.
And this is the toy:

the 'cobra syle ski rails' are just showing how this body will fit over a standard electric helicopter that is available.
The way it works with helos is manufacturers make scale looking bodies that will fit over commercially available electric powered helicopters, which come in various sizes. In this case 600 size, which is fairly big. So you buy a body and then put it over a 600 size helicopter you already own, thereby creating your Sea Stallion. Usually there are mods done so you would take the skids off the electric heli, because u/c can be added to the Stallion body. The illustration is just showing how the body you're buying fits onto a 600 size helicopter.

i just realized that the helicopter represented by this body is a 53E super stallion. The good news is that the model will be almost exactly 1/18 scale now, probably just a hair bigger. The bad news (for me) is that i can't use it for a vietnam era rescue helicopter cause they didn't exist then.
