Power Team Elite... What's The Deal?

So, I've been keeping an eye peeled and it seems to me that PTE may very well be dead. Not much being said about it... It seemed to get a hand-off by the owners to someone else which didn't bode well for it, and there's really not been any news.

I've been to the site carrying PTE now, and they really don't have much of anything to show at their site... New stuff that was displayed hasn't shown up.

Anyone else a little curious about this? I like some of PTE's stuff and think it's durable... I'm not fond of the figures, however they'd just started to make some removable headgear figures in the SWAT line I think, and were improving. Their stuff's great for the price though (generally).

You'd think they'd keep updates going or something though... I'd personally like to buy things, but when nobody has any of the new things that were shown, it kinda puts a damper on that plan.

I like PTE also and...

Hello,
from what i heard, there seems like PTE is going to release some new stuff by AUG. or lte year.
Also one of their main company's spokeman saud that 2006 is going to be a better year for them and that they are planning more new stuff for the 06 year.
Hope that this works.
i would like to get my hands on some of the new products like the Expeditionary bridge, barracks life sets and more.
take care and keep me posted.

I thought SBP had a whole bunch of new PTE stuff on pre-order, do they not?

I hope PTE doesn't disappear. I really like the combo of durabilty/realistic vehicles and accesories/cost.

That PTE website that took pre-orders way back when is now officially DOA as I understand it.

However, the stock that they oredred was forwarded to GIJOEHQ.com...and is now on their site. As Afurg said, SBP has a bunch of stuff up for pre-order for this coming August.

I don't have any inside information to say one way or the other...but I see PTE being around for quite a while and huge selection of products for the next 1 1/2 - 2 years.

SBP is taking pre-orders but the items will not be available until September 2005.
I will personally wait until then to place my orders.
That time frame is to long for me in regards to a pre-order.
take care.

Yeah, SBP has had a hefty pre-order list available, but 9/05 is a really long time to be watching the old checking account. :) I've been eyeballing it because I have some SW stuff on pre-order I'm waiting to get and that's not a cool thing to sit and stare at for months. Think I'll wait to put my order in when they actually have it in stock as well.

I sure hope PTE isn't dying a slow death... The accessories are rather nice, even if the figures aren't my cup of tea. I think their watch towers are fantastic actually. A little paint and they're perfect for all kinds of dioramas. Add a little Build-A-Rama fencing and they're damn sweet looking. Hopefully some good word will come along.

The figures although not as detailed as 21st and Bbi's are serviceable especially for customizing. I do like some of their accessories and occasionally find these at KB Toys.
