See that is the kind of stuff that drives me crazy about BCA..........let's have a sale and then jack up the prices.
Agreed. They sent me an email that the figures I ordered were out of stock and change their invoice, but make no effort to refund me the difference. Now I have to email them. Every time I order, there is some problem, I think I am about done with them!

Received the Sakai Zero today. Wasn't too happy about the condition of the box. The plastic was almost completely torn away from the box and the bottom of the box was badly torn apart. Luckily the plane wasn't damaged. Thought the damage was due to shipping but the box it was shipped in wasn't damaged at all.

Yeah, with that kind of damage the plane box, it sounds like it was already like that when they packed it up.
If you are one of those guys that keeps their planes in the box, it would be a bad thing.

This plane is going to be kept in the box but I had to do some major surgery to repair this box back to decent condition. It's presentable now.

My order was delivered via UPS at 12:30 pm. By the time I got home at 5:30 pm it had disappeared from my front porch. No P-38 for me

Check your neighbors, UPS is slammed this time of year, may just be a mix-up.

Hopefully its just a mix up, I had a Fed-ex delivery marked delivered on the web site, yet when I got home it was'nt there, spent the whole weekend thinking someone got it or was delivered to the wrong address.
Found out on the following monday the driver did'nt deliver it, he just wanted to get home early, not sure if he got reprimanded or not, but it was there when I got home.

A broken plane is better than no plane
All I have to go on right now is that UPS says it was delivered to my front porch at 12:30 by driver. I'm going to try to contact the USPS today, since my mail is delivered around 2:00, and see if my mail person can confirm that a package was there.
We have only lived here for 1 1/2 months and it's really going to change how I feel about my neighbors/neighborhood if it did "disappear". Not to mention that we did 75% of our X-mas shopping online. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

I once had something very similar happen a couple years ago, ironically when getting something shipped from Badcat. I ordered a 21c "Yellow 7" ME-262 and it was being sent to a friend's house in my town where I was house sitting as opposed to my usual residence. I followed the UPS tracking info and it showed the plane was delivered in the afternoon. When I got home that evening - no box! Of course, it was after-hours, so I couldn't call Badcat and the UPS tracking was of little help. I checked with a couple of the neighbors and they had not seen the package. So, after a sleepless night, I called Badcat in the morning and it turned out they had shipped the item to my normal residence as opposed to the place I was staying. They had made up the tag using my normal address. I drove over there and found my package.
The moral of the story, I guess, is that sometimes delivery problems are not always the result of the shipping company...

Turns out this is just a straight up case of property theft. My mail carrier confirmed that a package was on my porch when he delivered the mail. I filed a report with local police just to get it on file.
Two things that really bother me:
There is a feeling of being violated when someone comes onto your property for the sole purpose of taking something from you. I assume it was random but I guess I will never know for sure.
The other is that they stole a package without knowing its contents. It makes me sick to think of where that plane is. Hopefully it will at least make a nice gift for someone who "might" appreciate what it is.

I'm sorry, that is just plain rotten. It is really surprising that it does not happen more often.

No way! I’m so sorry to hear that that happened to you. It sure does take a big pair of brassies to walk up on someone’s porch and steal a package like that. I guess around the Holidays people will resort to just about anything to get some money. Are you on a busy street or a fairly private drive? One more thing to think of is neighborhood kids. Some bad eggs have been known to lift boxes and even go through mail looking for checks etc. We had an issue in my area like that last year.
