Found some shelves I like.

Post by hotrodrock » Mon Sep 28, 2009 10:34 am

Been working on the spare room and trying to get stuff out of the floor. Got these shelves at WM for $49. Really like them. 18" deep, not the normal 12" to 13". Will get a few more now. I've tried the cheapo particle board shelves and the metal shelves which always sag after a short time. These are honeycomed and I don't think they will sag even with the heavier 1/16 RC vehicles. Only a couple of these tanks have been weathered and detailed so far. A couple of Stukas are on the top shelf.

This mess is just more stuff waiting to be worked on. Plus whats in the attic and the 10x20 storage room full of military stuff. Kind of like that guy on the tank restoration show who said that at this time he had about 250 years worth of restoration work to do. I'm afraid if I hang all the planes from the ceiling, it might fall. Need to just sell it all.

Been using these style of shelves for years and they are very sturdy. Nice tank collection too.

The winterized T-34 is simply awesome. 8) We could use one of those instead of having multiple verions of the same subject by different manufacturers (Tigers, Shermans, Abrams, Bradleys, LAVs and M-16 halftracks).
