I hope not. I would hope for new schemes. There has to be many out there that have not been covered in 1/18. I would think that many collectors would like to see another OD Green one.
But the other side of the coin is at least its more 1/18 stuff coming out

I'd go for Robin Olds' "SCAT III"

Isn't that the same as the Putt Putt Maru?

Similar Pacific paint scheme to Putt Putt Maru but clearly pic shows Thomas Mcguire's Pudgy aircraft. I was debating about getting the special box 21st version but these are fetching a high price now. Curious as to why JSI does not release a different paint scheme than already offered from the P-38.

With all these rereleases of 21st planes, anyone who is holding on to old 21st planes just for collector resale value needs to dump them QUICK! They will not even get their money back on them as the rerelease come out. Not a problem for me-I never collect to resell.

I knew what you were referring to, I just meant the Putt Putt Maru looks like the Pudgy, or really awfully close.
I agree with you, an OD paint scheme is what I would like to see.

I have all the 21C P-38's,except for Haleakala.
I recently bought the JSI "Putt Putt Maru"I don't mind having duplicates,as they are from two "different"companies.
However,if JSI just keeps doing P-38's that 21C have already done, they are making a mistake IMO.
Collectors that already have the 21C scheme will not buy a duplicate JSI version.
I would want an OD version to be their next release,as there is a demand for these. So many schemes to choose from.
JSI should not just regurgitate schemes that have already been done.If they came up with a different aircraft,it opens up a whole new market.

I hope they would do an OD green one also.
I wouldn't even mind a re-issue of "California Cutie"
I would rather have "Haleakala" if there was a OD re-issue though.

I missed out on California Cutie ... my bad, but I'd love a JSI re-release.
I'm in agreement on the OD desire.

I think Scat II would be a great idea.
