Why would they have IJ or 21st stuff? Neither of those is in production or shipping, once it's gone, it's gone.
On that note, last check my TrU still had four DAK artillery spotters.

One of my local TRUs have stocked the repackaged FOV "Bravo Team" LAV and Sherman. They also have the Bravo Team Paratroopers. I'm hoping we see some of the WWII figures again at retail.

The Chap Mei stuff, and to a lesser extent, the Unimax repackagings clog the military aisle at my local TRUs. Even the GI Joe items are squished into an ever smaller space. There are still some 21c DAK artillery spotters, some 32x Jagdtigers (probably the worst-selling 32x vehicle of all time) and one store still has a couple discounted XD S2 Pak-40 Hanomags. The FOV HIMARS and MLRS vehicles are also at my TRUs. I really should get the HIMARS for the sake of completeness

Assuming I understand your question correctly, the Assault Force figures and vehicles work well with XD, or at least with the modern XD items.

Unfortunately it doesn't come across so well non-verbally.

Funny this came up. A member on MHII reported seeing a stack of NIB Flying Tiger P-40s and a Mig15 just this week at a TRU in California.

Well... over here in asia, PTE has made a sudden comeback, though with some being marketed as True Heros. And all to be found in TRU.
Just got the IFV and the locker & bed accessories pack today.

interesing......i wonder if TRU in north america will be getting the new PTE stuff too....i suspect they will.
I wish PTE would make a landing craft......and a bridge layer tank. Both those things are right up their alley, and while not strictly modern, they could certainly be used in a modern line.
i never met an airplane i didn't like...

The Sacramento (Arden Fair) TRU has several Flying Tiger P-40s for months. I bought one just two weeks ago.
The box is the special edition (not the original WalMart release) and the pilot is a P-38/P-47 version instead of the P-40 pilot from way back.
It cost $45+tax.

That's funny that the Arder Fair TRU still has some of the last 1:18 21c planes at retail. It was at that same TRU that I got my first XD plane - the P-51 - back in October of 2000. I stopped by there while on a road trip to find someplace to eat, then thought I'd check the TRU for new GI Joe items and walked out with something far better

Oh yea they had the Flying Tigers P-40.s and Mig-15 here in Calif like Hworth said and the store Mgr told me they just got the P-40's in over the weekend..I had no idea that they would still get these since they are no longer being made..Unless their warehouse is stocked with the old 21st planes.

I remember seeing the original figures and holding off ... though I don't remember the P-51 (perhaps you got one of the few).
A few years later I bought a discounted Winter Stuka (sans pilots) and then was hooked.
The Arden Fair TRU always has slightly different things than the others in the area, and every now and then a 1:18 German halftrack appears on the shelves for $15. I've been usually grabbing one if I see them ... the 21c halftracks are my second favorite piece (the Pak 40s are my favorite) <-- too bad Monkey Depot no longer is blowing them out.

Curious, is this store in SoCal? Last time I saw a massive stock of 1:18 aircraft was back in the TRU in Culver City a year ago.

I bought the last 1:18 Stuka Zu Fuss at the TRU in Roseville/Lincoln, CA. In Aug. they had 3 of that halftrack and 3 of the one with the PAK 40, all at $15.
I'm sure some of the last wave 21c stuff is still out there. My brother keeps finding $1 Walmart Germans <-- which is awesome, that last wave of 21c guys were great. My favorite though was the American pack-in with the Quad 50.
