Not sure of your question. What do you want to do ?

multiply the dimension (length, span etc) by 12 to convert it to inches.

divide that number by 18

the answer is the size, in inches, in 1/18 scale.

eg airplane has 30 foot wingspan:

multiply by 12 to convert to inches....30x12=360

divide that number by 18...360/18=20

so a plane with a 30 foot span would have a 20 inch span in 1/18 scale.

download scaecalc and it does it all on its own. Just plug in the numbers.
