BBi's website has a new logo and says, "bbi is being revamped. You will see a new bbi very soon. Stay tuned."
Hopefully, the BBI dealers that post on SSHQ can comment on the "new" BBI and any possible new models.
I hope that means new 1/18 and 1/32 models.

Let's hope they're not going to convert to a third-party Polly Pocket and Bratz accessory maker.

[CAT]CPLSLADE:
I'd like to see the 1/18 F-16 "Enduring Freedom" and a 1/32 TBF Avenger to follow the SBD Dauntless and F4F Wildcat.....just in time for Christmas.

With JSI ramping up, could mean some serious competition, much like it use to be back when 21st was around. Rob from Badcat, once told me the 2 hated each other. Ever since 21st showed their zero at the Toyshow ( I think it was ) all of a sudden BBI came out with one first; and everything was going to be hush hush from now on; and it was. Look how long it took for us too find out 21st was actually dead.

Unfortunately I agree. It seems like this sort of transition usually means they will be making my little ponies or some such nonsense...

I bought a 1/32 Avenger from Trumpeter a couple of months ago. When I opened the box and saw all those parts (492 of them) I nearly pooped myself. I'm still going to build it, but I hope someone does make a pre-built just in case things don't work out.

Do they want any input from us?
We sure make a lot of wish lists here.
We can also do some polls.
JSI's supposably doing one.
If they want to know what people want this is the place.

BBI's U.S. office has not announced any new or repainted products to dealers. That does not mean that something is not forthcoming. I know they have been considering re-releasing one or more of the modern jets, but that is old news, and obviously nothing has come of it yet. They are looking at economic issues, new safety regulations, etc.
Christmas season is approaching. Time for a re-issue, if any, is probably now.
As for new tools: doubt it.

All I thought this meant was that they were changing their website.

I'd be really happy with just that. I would buy any of their aircraft repaints.
It's time for a few anyways.
1:18:
109G - Euro Theatre colors
Zero - Solomon colors
Hellcat - Late War shiny dark blue
Corsair -(anything it's so nice!)
Any jet -(we've seen those prices!)
1:32:
F4 Phantom - Vietnam colors
SBD Dauntless - Midway or the followup '43 colors we've already seen, or A-24 Army colors.
F4F Wildcat - Atlantic grey and white colors.

Since we're wallowing in wishful thinking,
the jet I really want is a Thunderbird F-16/ Correct and with a glossy finish.
Ahh, heck, I can't figure out why the image wont upload.

well then BBI should put a dollar figure out to the public about the "sponsored" units. They mentioned 3000 units as a minimum.
Get a real number out there and see what happens.

So...do we make anything of the F-16, F-18, and Apache appearing in the catalog (so close but so far...)?
