good to see the IFV made it over here. I wonder if the tank, helicopter etc will too.
And, they're available in canada....amazing. Free shipping too. Not sure if i'll get them but nice to have the option.
The bombed out building looks interesting but not sure what it would be useful for...doesn't look very european to me:

Wow, I usually don't dig Power Team stuff but that IFV looks pretty cool.

Looks very much like a Russian BTR-80 (with 3 sets of wheels instead of 4 sets)
Cool find.

That will be worth getting. Now I'm excited about seeing the tank. We are still a ways from the Christmas season, so anything is possible. I really don't want to have to get one from the UK as the shipping is horrendous.

the IFV is a chinese one, i forget the name but someone will know it. As i recall it was a bit off scale, can't remember if too big or too small. Too big i think. Neat looking vehicle i guess but of limited interest, to me.

i don't know how useful the bombed out building is. We can only see the back of it (ie the inside of the building)....not even sure if there is a real front to it and if so, what it looks like. There are no horizontal floors on the inside, so you cant really put figures inside of it.

Are you sure you're looking at the INSIDE? It looks like a fairly typical Tunisian/middle-eastern designed "mud building" to me. I think that's the outside, and the inside's not visible.

that's the outside? Oh, the stairs running up the side made me think it was the inside.

Yeah it's a very Tunisian looking design/style. Very similar to Star Wars buildings on Tatooine, actually, short of having sci-fi type doors/windows. It reminds me of the buildings Anakin lived in, in TPM though.
I'm getting one, I'll see if I can "review" it. Word is that the picture doesn't depict what all it comes with.

Typical bait and switch BS.

Awesome little modern building. Very COD.

so this building could be used in a middle east diorama then?
COD?

I think you could probably use the building in a bunch of different locals with a little work. It would probably work just fine the way it is in a mediterranean dio. With a repaint it should fit just fine in european dioramas as a commercial building or the type of apartment you might find in a run down residential neighorbood.

i dont know.......those stairs running up the outside are pretty unusual. Really make it distinctive.

A scratchbuilt railing might help. For a WW2 diorama I don't think the stairs would be too out of place. I'm no expert on architecture from that era but I'd bet that there were some residential dwellings with external stairways in europe. Also what you see doesn't necessarily have to be the front of the building. That could be a fire escape on the back of a building.
Perhaps it would be suited for places like southern Italy where there was lots of North African influence on architecture.

They're actually not that unusual for "old cities" in North Africa, and I liked the Italy/Mediterranean suggestion too... This building would ultimately work well in either. Again I pointo out a Star Wars building, but it's a Tunisian building ultimately (Anakin's apartment complex thing from TPM). It's an actual building still standing in N. Africa (Tunisia) today... In use.
It's foreign to us, but there it's not that odd. Not sure on Italy, but I think it fits in ok. There's very, very old cities that would look quite at home with that thing in it I think.

This site has some images of the building and a few more pics. Not much there with the building. If I saw it in a store for $25 bucks though I'd pick it up.

the building inside is actually better than i thought it would be. I was expecting it to just be a front, with no interior at all.
It would be good for strafing with a Cobra helicopter or Bradley or something, from the exterior viewpoint, but not really useful as a 'doll house', as it were....mostly just as a backround.
It's $50 but you get 12 figures and a variety of gear like hedgehogs, barbed wire, sand bags etc. So it's not that bad a deal, i guess.
I just can't get excited about the IFV or FAV. Chinese vehicles don't turn me on at all....there's nothing to do with them.
Where did he get the PTE chinese tanks?.....i haven't seem them for sale anywhere in north america.
