A while back I did some personalized stands for 1/18 planes that I sold with my customized planes, then figured no one else would be interested in them. Doin some dusting the other day and took some shots.
They included the history and plane / pilot picture on the stand. Did one for Gunther Rall, Adolf Galland, Old Crow and Hurry Home Honey.
Also some nice simple round ones that look good in the living room without taking away from the plane.

The sign of a great model is that one’s eye is not drawn to any one feature, yet one can study it for hours and continually find something new.

Adding some info on the plane and pilot is a nice addition to the aircraft display.

Yoxford, Your display stands look very professional.......museum like. I think it's a great idea.
