I got the email on the 23rd.
I'm assuming everyone else has received the same notification?

I ordered mine from BadCats.
The email provided a UPS tracking #, and the package has a 7/30 delivery date; so, I should have it in hand on this coming Thursday.

Didn't receive a notification but then I didn't order one.

I like the paint but not even a German cross on this tank. Come 'on why do we have to be politcally correct on these supposedly collector's only models.

love paint but agree on the markings
why not???

That does seem odd that the Tiger doesn't have the cross on it. In pics of the JSI Panther it does.

Oh well at least we still have the 2 in 1:18th.
What I'd really like to know..........is who's going to produce 21st's King Tiger

Why? Because for all the "This is a collector/online only type deal" that's been touted, I can guarantee JSI is hoping big retailers pick the line up at some point, and they're probably trying to do what they can to see that happen.
It could be yet another cost-cutting measure also as the "details" of the paintjob are usually the more labor-intensive ones and more costly.

Did the tank come with any decals?

[+] > I do like the paint-scheme however , but w/o markings , that's no big deal. You can apply your own to it @ some point.
......... that's not unusual , but you would think that it should've came complete though.
[+] > I like the detached barrel in the packaging too. @ least you won't have ta' worry about any warpage that way , unlike the "Eastern-Front" Tiger , it was boxed as one-piece.

Fantastisch! An awesome looking Tiger... Now with less bang for your buck. It's the new trend in 1:18. No figures. No decals. Not even the PC ones. Soon enough you'll have to buy the gun barrel as a separate option at double the pricepoint. The more you pay, the less you'll get. Oil prices and all that.
Does it even come with an MG-42?
(No, I don't mean you Mitch!

)
(BTW, the balkenkreuz is prominently featured as the national insignia on the Luftwaffe aircraft today, so this move by JSI should have nothing whatsoever to do with political correctness.)

* Yeah , I agree "KO'F" . Tis quite ridiculous.
......... I just hope their Panther won't look naked either.

I'm glad JSI is starting to show some product. As most have stated already the color scheme is great looking. Not to excited about the price point and the lack of markings. Plus no figure is a real downer. So far I'm not liking the stuff I see from them, and it makes me miss 21st C all that much more. Would like a run down on this tank though, as to what is included or not.

Yeah ! ... Good point "momaw".
............ is this tank
really worth getting , or is beauty just in the eye of the beholder ?
[+] > I will be getting the Panther for sure though , if only they don't decide to make it look naked like the Tiger , w/ no markings. Figures are a different matter to me. If the figures look so
crappy , maybe we're lucky not to have them included.

I agree with Momanadon to an extent. I cannot say that I'm not liking what JSI is producing - the paintwork is awesome - it is just that they are items I already have in similar schemes yet they cost $30-$40 more and come with less. There is not much on originality at this point, which after having amassed a bunch of 21c items over the years, is what I really want for my collection.

Nice paintjob, but less for more, no thanks. Maybe if these were clearanced I would.

If everyone is already talking clearance before picking these up, this will be very short lived. I do see everyones point though, as I like the paint, but I just hope they are not judging the market with these items. If that is the case we may never see the F-14 come. It will be another one of those wish it would have been type things.

My JSI Tiger does not have the commander's ring-mounted machine gun.
Did anyone else find that to be the case? I'm not sure if mine was just left out, or if the JSI version just doesn't include it. Nice paint, though! I really like it.
