Any updates on Admirals Dauntless?

I'm just curious if anyone has heard anything from Admiral regarding their Dauntless. I still have two of them paid for through Military Toy Shop and I was wondering if it will ever be released. The plane looks awesome so far, but we haven't heard anything for quite some time. Jason, if you around here, could you give us an update please?

I pre-ordered on a while back as well. It’s been so long the credit card I used to order it with has since expired!

AIRACOBRA:
I check for Admiral updates everyday on another message board and there hasn't been anything since the 1/18 Mosquito back in April, if I remember correctly.

Me too. Plus, I have moved since I paid for them.

It sure has been a while. I will have to contact Military Toy Shop when they receive them.

I check that site about twice a week, and rarely find any new posts regarding Admiral 1/18 projects. I hope everything is still moving along for Jason.

i really have to wonder if Admiral is still in business. They haven't produced a single new item in about 2 years, the only ever made 4 things that i know of: F-86 plus repaints (the german version of which has been heavily discounted), Me-262 plus repaint, a 1/72 panzer iii which has been discounted down to a $2-3 and a 1/43 bmw car that i also saw heavily discounted.
Their planned upcoming projects: dauntlass, skyraider, 2 WWI birds and mosquito will far outpace what they have done since they came into being. So, i will admit, i've been skeptical for some time now about all their new announcements and their ability to produce any of them.
Hopefully i will be proven wrong.

I would be really bummed out if they disappeared. I know they only had two different 1/18 planes but I like them both, and I like their upcoming planes as well. It would be nice to hear from Jason because I have a decent amount of cash hanging around the Military Toy Shop that I could use for other planes if Admiral has gone away.

they may have not officially gone out of business but it seems they are just around in name only, at this point. It would be too bad if they were another victim of the economic times.
It just seems unlikely to me that they have the wear with all to make several new planes, one of them very big, with having little cash flow for years.
The dauntlass is how old now? Maybe they are trying to break 21c's record of time between announcement and product on the shelves for a 1/18 plane, set by the Avenger.

Besides a few anouncements of projects that are JUST about to be released which never materialize they don't seem to be doing anything. I think it has been a couple months since the last "anouncement of a "soon to be released project" by Admiral which was the Mosquito I believe. Come to think of it, aren't we due for the latest "soon to be released project" anouncement from Admiral? They seem to run every 2 or 3 months. What do you think, a B-52 maybe?
