21C XD MegaMan Airplanes!

Post by donnieboy » Mon May 09, 2005 8:33 pm

A friendly spy working undercover at 21st Century Toys informs me that 21C is coming out with a new series of XD planes called the MegaMan Line. Coming out this year will be the B-36 Peacemaker, the C-5B Galaxy, and the B-52H, all in true 1:18 scale. Nest year:Tu-95 Bear, Short Sunderland, and the Hughes Spruce Goose. Due to size constraints, they will be sold in the lumber section of Lowe's and Home Despot. For $20 extra, the Deluxe versions
will come with electric motors and a flight crew of trained gerbils! Preorder yours today!
Go Starbuck!

I'm going to combine the two posts from donnieboy...
My undercover spy at 21st Century Toys also has told me that the new XD MegaMan airplane series (see my last post) will eventually be sold through 21C's own specialized MegaMan outlet stores, tentatively to be called "Hernias-R-Us".
Incidentally, my 21C inside source tells me that the XD TBM Avenger will definitely be released by late fall of the year 2065.
All preorders will be honored, posthumously if necessary!

I would buy a Bear.

Then, I'd have to build a 1/18th submarine for it to hunt...

What? You don't know about the 1:18 Saturn V rocket with removable sections, including a 3 man crew for the command module. Not to mention a working LEM! They come in the happy meals you get at Jack N the BOX! How is it I'm the only one who knows about this!

A Spruce Goose would be a sight to see in 1/18 scale at about 18 feet wingspan. Not including that it would be about 12 feet long. I think most wouldn't be able to display something that big. I know for one that would barely fit it in my garage, so I want to know when the Tooth Fairy started calling or e-mailing people? Or was that the Easter Bunny? And where do I sign up for them to contact me? And I thought the B-17 was too big.
