I'm pretty sure it was put a vote here, and all but one guy said they did NOT want an A-10. I'm pretty sure some people were so against it they threatened to quit if they even made it.

Seriously.

I was being "Funny" with the thought someone would've come in and posted a link, which I cannot find, but there's more than one A-10 thread around here. I'm looking for the doozey right now, but it's around. I'll post it whenever I dig it up.

Rather than finding "the" doozie, it's probably easier to post the search results...

viewtopic.php?t=2446&highlight=a10

This is a 30+ pager on A-10's, but here's the search results looking up simply "A-10":

search.php?mode=results&sid=cc644317302 ... 897be8d4ca

It's a lot of pages, and some random passages to wade through, but you get the idea.

I'm not even a plane guy, actually, and even I'm all too aware of the want of an A-10 with these guys.

I was just ribbing you earlier, so no misunderstanding. I wasn't being clear because I figured by now one of those guys would've jumped in, very angry, about not having an A-10...

Which I can understand since they've been all but given production images of one from a couple companies I think, only to be let down that it's either too big or whatnot to have accomplished at retail.

Well, word on the street is that we're getting an F-14 and eventually an SU-22 and F-15, so the possibility of an A-10 just got a little less remote

Did someone say A-10? Let me tell you a story of a boy and his love for an A-10.. A long time ago in a galaxy far, far, away...
