Cool find at Goodwill

Found a "Sea Powler" at Goodwill for $16.

It's an R/C boat that looks alot like a proposed design for a special operations ship that I've seen.

I had seen it at TRU, but couldn't justify the price tag (I think it retailed for about $60), because I don't have any place to run it. But for $16, I said, what the heck.

I'm planning to gut the R/C parts and install a cockpit, and maybe a back section as well. Of course, it needs to be Haze Grey overall, as well...

Here's a picture of it with my Bad Guys, to show an idea of scale...

I think I could put a good sized cockpit inside the fuselage quite easily.

Hmmm, interesting.

Whatcha gonna do with the RC guts when you remove them, if I may ask?

I'd considered buying one of these as well and sooping it up as a Star Wars custom of some sort, but I wanted it to run yet. Wonder how "good" of an RC vehicle it is... Not that I have much of anywhere to run one either, haha.

What weapons will you arm it with?

Thinking a chin gun, plus Harpoons/Tomahawks/Mavericks. I think I can fit one pilon of weapons on each side...

The vessel schematics I saw had the space behind the cockpit as modular, with different modules installed for different missions. One module might be for carrying SEALS, one might be for carrying a dipping SONAR and operators (and the vessel woucl carry torpedoes), another might be for surveilance, etc...

First step will be a new paint job, though.

Just get come crimson guards and save yorself the hassle of having to paint it. No army besides the cobra army would use a vehicle like that anyway.

Now that I think about it, it would be great if the US army had something like that.
