Looks good. What materials did you use for the Wagen?

materials

Post by od1each » Sat May 07, 2005 4:37 am

Thanx, balsa wood in different sizes, just like building the real thing, Each piece glued, on other wagen same. Top was a piece of material I found then soaked in glue/water then laid in place. I have found some great scale horses to add........I am in the process of making harnesses out of small leather strips....and hope to add them to the wagens.

The bales are wood shavings, storage stuff is of course from Mark @ BUILD-A-RAMA. Wheels are machine cut from hardwoods. Misc brake parts are just sprue parts left over from a old model car kit. Rear hitch is a lobster clasp from a necklace. Large bolts are the heads of pins. Chains are also from a necklace. But the majority is all wood.
