Got the last FW 190D-9 to complete my set of all 5 21st Century Toys FWs. I found this at WWII Weekend and was very happy to get it. Here are shots of all five. The location is my attic on a shelf I built for my AC. :D :D :D

Cool, fairly hard one to find as was the last scheme they did for the D (not counting the Euro release). Blue/black 12 is my personal favorite. :D

Better be careful, the summer heat will melt them into a big blob.

Nice collection.. Just an FYI, the Fw-190A and D all had angled gear. Your Doras would sit better if their gear was in its proper position.

Here is a pic that illustrates what I mean.

I'm very envious -- I can't get my hands on even one. One of the few I still don't have a single example of

I've been ok keeping them there for a couple of years now. I have good soffit/ridge venting plus windows at each gable end. It does get warm, but I have never seen any damage from heat. I have always been watchful of these planes to make sure all is well.

I just built the shelving this spring and it has worked out very well. Less than $100.00 worth of material netted 72 linear feet of sheving 2 foot wide (that's 21.9456 meters by .6096 meters for you on the metric system)

Good find! I've got that one sitting on my display table now  I got it from another boardmember for a good price a year or so ago. It is a unique and well-executed scheme, with an interesting story behind it as well. I also have the JG-26 version and Michaelski version. Michaelski is one of my favorites... I once had the "Red 3" version, but returned it to get the Michaelski version back in 2004. Then, I was only into collecting one of each plane type. Should have kept that repaint to go with my future ME-262s

I'm tempted at some point to let my JG-26 version go, but haven't quite made up my mind on it yet...

Thanks for sharing those images. It is always neat to see how people choose to display their vehicles.
