Check out the camo pattern on the Panther. I don't know why they are bringing back some of those tanks/vehicles. MD is getting rid of them for cheap and will have the market saturated. I wonder what the Century Soldier is gonna be.

i like the 109.

Nice to see many of the old 21c molds getting used. I gather they don't have the KT, otherwise i'm sure they'd be releasing it. But somebody must have it...

Jolly Rogers

Post by bpxbrian » Sat May 23, 2009 8:54 am

I guess that's our confirmation that the F-14 will be Jolly Rogers version.

I hope the F-14 VF-84 is the low-visibility paint scheme----like in the photo. That photo weathering looks great.

F-14 pic is the same one we've seen all along. It doesn't look right to me. Camo is off. I'm sure they'll get it right though..

Nice link Black Dragon One

Did you checkout the slideshow of the real F-15 with wheels down. It's huge. No F-14 displayed though.

My bet is the KT doesn't exist... The tank was likely mocked up and prototyped, but never had a mold to make a production paint sample. I think that's why it's not being heard from at all.

It will be very interesting to see if even the possibility that these products lie in the future might begin to have a depressing effect on eBay prices. Huey's have been going for $150 at least and some for well over $200, for instance.

... we can only hope ...

the 88 hasn't been heard from either; nor the Panzer IV. I'm sure the KT molds exist but remain unused.

The 109 scheme is an early war one. Battle of France, Battle of Britain era. Very cool.

It looks like the F-15 has variable intakes just like the real thing. Thats a great touch.

Very, very cool. 109 scheme is BoB, very happy for that. I'm not certain the paint on the RAF p-40 is accurate, but any new RAF is more than welcome!

Looks like they incorporated a fold-over flap for the boxes to protect the clear windows. Very smart.

Some tape on the F-15 to hold it all together. Not quite reached production level yet. :)

Still no mention of pilots.....

These JSI models HAVE to be made with 21st C molds.
I'm sure the KT will show someday as well as the 88s. Hope that they along with the Pz IV will be in the tri-color Normandy scheme.

I'm also willing to bet that JSI IS the rebirth of 21st C ;)
They started up a new company to get out from under all those heavy bills they had as 21st C when declaring bankruptcy. Wallyworld as well as TRU had dealt them some hard blows thru the years. So it's yet to be seen if JSI will do figures too. My bet is they will. For now they will be looking for large returns on the re-issue of former models, ie. you can make more profit off of a tank or plane thean you will make off of one figure.

Let's sit back and see what happens :)
BTW, anyone know yet where to buy the JSI models ???
I gots to get me some of those Tigers

JSI has been around since '88. They are not 21st renamed.

Military Toy Shop and Small Joes both have them up for preorder.

I love that Panther scheme. Minichamps has released the same Panther in 1:35 scale, and it looks pretty cool.
