New to the site
Hey everyone, i've been lurking around for about a month now and finally decided to step in and say hello.
I'm John, and im a toyaholic.......
I grew up playing with the second generation of GIJOE's and eventually grew out of it. And here I am at 25, playing with them all over again. Something about these 21st century toys re-ignited my love for toys and things dealing with WWII history. What better way to put these two together.
I started with one of the older 1/18th scale P-51 aircraft (Lou IV), and recently picked up the Halftrax, Dodge Command car, and then a checkered corsair. I can't seem to stop now. Is there help for people like me?
But anyhow, great community you guys have going on and I hope to contribute. Does anyone have any cool modifications to suggest regarding the above models? TIA

hello
Welcome. Funny how your story sounds VERY familiar
"Is there help for people like me?"
- Yes. Check in here daily and rely on family & friends to keep you from converting your residence into a motorpool or AC hangar. Good Luck.

My living room has been transformed into what my girlfriend likes to call the War Room
Welcome to the board! The only Mod I recommend is loosening of the Corsair wing hinge screws to avoid breaking the hinge. Check out the details in the reference section......
