Just saw this at
Area 21
Any chance we could see some online retailers import these?

The Pz IV sounds like it will be similar to the S1 Pz IV only with brown instead of the green.
Interesting that they are doing this.......i wonder what the point is though.

This may give 21st the opportunity to ship the whole lot from China to Europe and save cost shipping it here and then across the Atlantic. The Panzer sounds sweet...but I'm biased

I will do whatever it takes to get one

Maybe Corgi has a hand in it, you never know. The European market could be really lucrative especially with the current exchange rate the way it is.
You will probably see the Luftwaffe 104 going over there as well........

Very interesting. The XD planes I saw sold in Europe (through Corgi) were all paintjobs also avaliable here. Having some different schemes exclusive for Europe will give them something thats a little more collectable, but I'm glad the vehicles are types that have already been released here and that they aren't getting first dibs on some new release! I can't wait to see the pictures.
Although the Area21 message says the new Panzer IV will be similar to the S1 version, wouldn't it stink if they gave the
European version schurtzen

I forgot to mention that the Panzer has... schurtzen!

Funny - I should go work for the toy industry becausecause I think just like them!
Its nothing to worry about as we here in the US will soon get a couple new Panzers with the schurtzen. Just glad to see 21c expanding their market!

that's a good thing !
And I hope 21st stuff will be now aviable more easily and for a decent price like in the US.
I will let you know if new Panzer appear somewhere in Belgium.
Take care

WOW!!
I would of never expected that!! Great find. This marks the first foreign repaint of any 1:18 vehicle or aircraft.......

I added both aircraft to the profile album. Note that I have now split the album due to the high number of images (80+!).
The only fault with the Aussie bbi planes are the roundrels on the wings that don't exist on the real thing.

That's pretty neat. I wish some retailer in canada would do the same thing for Canadian F-18's.
Are you sure Australian F-18's dont have roundels on the wings? I thought the australians had the same system as the US; top of the left wing and bottom of the right....

Check out the photo in the Profile Album. They have nothing on the wings...

Corgi has been the European distributor for 21st for about the last six months or so. They are almost certainly the force behind these two new Euro paints. It will be interesting to see if these schemes make it back here sometime in the future.
There is also solid demand for paint schemes of US manufactured aircraft that were exported to other countries. The F-104 could be a very smart move in exploiting this demand as a number of Euro countries flew with that aircraft for many years.
And the earlier poster is correct, if Corgi receives a container directly from China, huge amounts of money will be saved ($50+ per plane) and this savings will be passed-on to Euro consumers which should really get things rolling over on the other side of the pond.

hey guys, is the 190 Black 14 of JG26?
I haven't seen a profile of that bird with the little white symbol with the red mark that 21st has just below the cockpit. Any ideas on this bird's profile? Thanks!

Very impressed with both paint schemes. The Europeans should be pleased as well! That 190 scheme, IMHO, is candidate for best of the bunch!

Both Profiles have been posted in the Album:
FW-190 (sorry for the poor picture, it's all I could find):
http://community.webshots.com/photo/941 ... 1646IrlbsU
MK IV:

Thw FW-190 is 100% spot-on, but the MKIV looks like it was Dunkel Gelb, instead of the 2-tone. At least for the picture, the muzzle break is in the right position. It still looks excellent, though......

Black 14 it is....any idea what the marking on the 21st bird is that I mentioned in my post? I can't find a profile pic with that on there, but like you said all the profile pics are small, so it may be on them but just not visible. The only thing else I noticed was the last digit of the tail number varied sometimes.
Anyway, good stuff as always Ski.

I might have a better profile pic somewhere.. The small card with the heart on the side of the cockpit is "Jutta" and this is believed to be Pips Priller's plane..

Take care.

I'd appreciate it if you can find it.

Priller had Black 13 IIRC.....
