Disassembling BBi Pavehawk
Disassembling BBi Pavehawk
Hey everyone,
I'm trying to get my BBi Pave Hawk apart to begin doing some custom work on it. I've removed the plugs that cover the screw holes and removed the screws. That is about as far as i can get, besides the obvious removal of the tail, doors, etc.
The piece is evidently well glued. I'm currently running a knife along the seams in order to try and force it apart, but I'm not having a lot of luck. The posts that hold the screws in place are probably glued together as well, which makes things difficult.
I've seen folks here on the forum with theirs completely disassembled and I'm wondering if there are any tricks or tips you could share to help me out?
Thanks everyone.

I'm wanting to do an entire interior mod first and build from the inside out. Cockpit, crew chief, and troop areas would all be modified. After that i want to begin modifying the helicopter to look more "real." Add a working flap in the rear, antennas, plum detectors, etc etc. A full build out.
I think my eventual goal is to modify it into the MH-60L model.
Unfortunately getting it open is the first task at hand.
