Considering the 'end' of 21st and overall downturn in 1/18, I'm thinking of picking up a bbi Me-109. I usually only collect Allied pieces, but this looks like a sweet model (and perhaps the last from bbi.....?)
Most seem to be in the $60 range + shipping. Anyone know of a better price?

The BF-109 wasn't a Merit exclusive.

supposedly only 1000 made - the surprise should be there are any available at all. BBI doing AC somebody already did finally biting them in the a$$. In addition, save the engine detail I'm not sure the bbi version is a better model (though the pilot is hands down a winner as usual).

If the Cat Mouth was a larger production run, which it may well have been, then there would be nothing strange about that.

. I guess it's all in the eye of the beholder.
A lot of the 21st planes are like that. The spitfire would've looked ace with separate struts but i'm thinking maybe they did it for strength and cost.
