Nebelwerfer 41 Prototype - Updated 1-24-2010

Post by grunt1 » Thu Apr 16, 2009 8:25 pm

I was holding off on this, but the news these days seems so dismal that I thought I'd share it a bit earlier than planned.

 Very Cool

I'm still working things out, but yes, the plan is that these will be available for sale, at least to board members.

They are a bit salty since I don't have the overseas factories working on my behalf so I'm working on the cost. That and I need to fix up the wheels a bit (the axle isn't working the way I like). When that's done she'll be ready to roll.

Very nice Grunt! Verlinden made one in 1:16th years ago, I don't know if they are still available.
This will be a nice piece to add to our 1:18th collections. Keep us up to date.

Very nice! Remember when we had the 1:18 artillery contest that Kamikaze put on a year or two ago, I was going to build a Nebelwerfer and had already started the planning phase.
I had planned on using the axle and wheels of a jeep willy as a base.
Yours totally rocks with detail. Count me in if you go forward with making some for us boardmembers!

Looks like a many things have changed sence my last visit. I hope you guys can keep going in the hobby, as it look like many have some great talent here. Are these kits going to be painted or would it be some assembly required? Great piece by the way Grunt.
