TRU and WalMart runs no more, so..

Post by mikeg » Mon Mar 30, 2009 5:48 pm

what 18th AC are ya still trying to scrounge; excepting purchases in the 200-300.00+ range at Ebay, private reserve, and Skyworks?. In other words, what 40.00 to 70.00 AC do you still get a hankering for from week to week? Items on my "pick up whenever" list include both hellcats, the bbi 109, new sakai zero, white 7 262, daisy june corsair. Most of us have enough, but still..

I am still on the fence on the Hellcat (saw it once at TRU and was kind of disappointed by fit and finish), but I would still like to pick up a Zero at some point. Other than that, I have representatives of everything I want (at least that has been released so far).

Everyday 40-70 Range would include:

1/18 21C P-51D Bunnie
1/18 21C P-40B Pearl Harbor
1/18 21C F-104 German
1/18 21C Ju-87 Stuka
1/32 Bbi F-4 Phantom

For more rare aircraft, for me it would be in the following order and I don't have any of these planes currently:

1/18 Spitfire Mk. I NKK
1/18 P-47 Eagleston
1/18 P-38 (any scheme)

Hate missing those WM deals :x

Nothing in the 40-70 range, just that damnably expensive Super Cobra.

I'd probably like to find a "yellow 7" Me-262, but that's about it for me.

All I am in the market for is one of the PH P-40s. Beyond that I am good.

I pretty much have one of every make of plane with the exception of the Helllcat and the F-18 Hornet. I passed on the first and only shipment of Hellcats at TRUs as they were all poorly assembled and I doubt that I will ever see the Hornet in stores anytime soon. I have the Atlantic Avenger but for the right price would like to pick up the Bunker Hill version.

Scratch the 21C P-51D Old Crow.

Psst...TRU has both the P-40's and Old Crows down to 27.95
