Lets see now, do I put it in the den or the bedroom. Oh, thats right, it won't fit thru any of my doors.

Oh well, back to 1/18.

It is a beauty but......
The tranny cover is the older 3 piece. ALL of the M-10s had the single piece cast tranny cover.
None of my stuff will ever win scale contests and I do not consider myself a rivert counter. But with all of the time and effert that when into this M-10 one would think that this major detail would have been done correctly.
Again it looks fantastic but...

It does make you wonder why someone would go to the time and expense that it probably took to make the thing and for it to have such a glaring problem. I occasionally look at sites that have the high dollar 1/6 pieces but don't recall if their are Shermans available. Could be that there is a 1/6 Sherman available but only with that type trans cover and thats what the builder went with.

Hotrod......
Unless you live in a Hobbit house, I feel safe in saying, a 1/6 M-10 will fit through your doors. A 1/6 M-10 would be about 16" wide....not exactly a tight squeeze.
The listing doesn't say what the tank is made of. It doesn't even say if the interior is complete. With an open top, interior detail is kind of important.
AND as Pickel says, we are looking at a model of an old Sherman mocked up to be a M-10. For $5,000, I'd expect more accuracy. AND what does it weigh to require freight shipping with "crate included". That listing begs a lot of questions to be answered.
OK, the price is very high, but there are 1/6 M-10's that start around $200-400 and let you put as much detail as you and your wallet want to spend. I paid $150 for mine and will start it "someday"........ right after I get my 1/18 21C KT.

That's odd, it doesn't say anywhere in the auction about it being a 100% accurate M10.
