Had a chance to stop in several WMs today:

Waterloo - nothing new
Auburn - one of the 1/6 R/C Humvees
Camillus - a lot of P-47 bubbletops (silver w/ yellow nose), 2 types of FW 190s, and some 1/32 Panzer Mobelwagons and Panzer IVs.
No figures in evidence anywhere....

On my way back from a business trip today I stopped in the WM at Vacaville, CA and to my amazement they had restocked the XD marines! I was there about a week ago and they had just a few left. I just don't understand why some stores are getting a second wave of merchandise while other stores still don't have anything at all! Just doesn't make a lot of sense.

Nonsense! Their logic is irrefutable!

Their inventory analysis has shown that XD sells poorly in the regions where they don't stock it, while it sells well in areas where they do stock it. Therefore it is only LOGICAL to send any restock to the areas where it's selling well!

Let me know if I can help you with any other quandries...

Last night I stopped by the WM in West Mifflin, Pittsburgh and saw between six and eight 1:6 remote control humvees for 200 burgers each. Cool toy, but 200 bucks? Not to mention the space they took up. Too bad the 1:18 selection was limited to two red 3 fws, one galland 109, and one p-47.

Seeing the same thing at the stores out my direction Gustav... Lots of the 1:6 Kubel's just popped up, and theyr'e scrambling to find space for them. I'm amazed you even have the planes you listed out at your WM's on the other side of the city. Out here, the only aircraft I've seen for a month or two has been choppers. The figures and tanks/trucks are all I want, and they've been all that is hard to find in the area. Still bummed I never got a winter Tiger.

There are no Figures to be found in the Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas area.

Where are you guys finding them in relation to the other Action Figure lines? Are they with the Figures or the Cars/Hot Wheels?

I've seen a few Galland 109's and a bunch of black night fighter 109's. One intersting find today was the model kits of new 32x Panzer IV and Shermans. The boxes seemed heavy so I don't know for sure but maybe these new kits have some metal to them like the cold steel 32x.

Score on for the little guys.

News of the 21C stuff showing up at Walmart, along with the MF@#$%@!!! Star Wars AT-TE gunner, has got me doing more frequent toy runs to Walmart the last few weeks. So far, jack squat.

Today, I saw that Bad Cat had the figures for $5.95. So, taking into account shipping/tax/etc, this cost me a dollar more a figure, and I don't have to waste time and gas hunting. I still hope to find the Marines and Halftrack, but at least I got some more BoB figures I've been wanting, I reduce my headaches, and its at least a few dollars that doesn't go to Walmart.

Yes, fuddmiester - and today I was up in Watertown for work. Wanted to stop in a WM while I was there (especially since Watertown is right by Fort Drum!), but never saw one and didn't have time to search around.

I've noticed that also. I tend to buy them when I find them, and don't seem to spend as much when I can't find 'em!

Only new stuff I've found is a few of the new 1/32 tanks and also the kits. No new XD anywhere close.

After all this time one of the local Wal-Marts had 1 Red 3 and 1 Black 12 FW-190D9. I picked up the Black 12 version, at regular price. None of the WMs in my area seem to discount anything :?

On a good note, the WM near LynnHaven Parkway in VA Beach had a number of FWs, MKIVs, 1 Halftrack, and some 32nd scale stuff. Oh yeah, they also had a load of 1/18 figures.

The closest WM to me (Portsmouth VA) NEVER has anything...either that or there's someone in my area that hits them as soon as they hit the shelf.

TO GUNNER (DC) - Take the Baltimore/Washington Parkway from DC to Laurel Maryland exit (2nd right) and go to the Walmart (you can see it from the highway). They have all the XD and 32x stuff. remember to look on the top shelves throughout the toy section. Some items are scattered.

I saw the 1:32 Flack Gun in stock @ the Boynton Beach, Florida super Wal-Mart. (New item?) Also saw six 1:6 scale Stuart tanks on the clearance rack for $50.00. They are all the same paint scheme.

Happy Hunting

Looks like the new 1/32nd items are more readily available than the new 1/18 items or so it appears that way. :?
