No 1:18 Scale Stryker from Unimax Anymore :-(

Just went to Unimax's website and they have updated their lists with the new paratroopers plus some new navy seal and SOF figures that look great. Unfortunately they no longer list a 1:18 scale Stryker but a 1:18 scale Lav-25 in its place. They still do show the 1/32nd Stryker :-(

That is a huge blow to me. I've been waiting for over a year for this Stryker. I guess I will put my wallet away for 3yrs until the A-10 shows up.

WHY Unimax   this really sucks.

I wonder if they are going to make more ww2 figs & vehicles?

Gah... First the M-16, a 21C re-run and now the LAV which was just clearanced out of targets not even a year ago..

:?....I'm hoping there is an error on their site and they forgot to list it. The LAV is just a new vehicle to the line... :? ...trying to be positive here...it will truly bite if the Stryker has been canned.

On a brighter note, did you notice that there are quite a few more 1/18 modern figures coming. SEALS and DELTA force operatives... :D

After looking at their site, I partly forgive them. That LAV25 was my favorite FOV piece and I would not mind a 1:18th version of it. The BBI one was a horrible color and only had room for 1 in the turret. If the Bravo LAV comes in the green or matching tan color and has some functional hatches, I will welcome it. My guess is Target wanted a $19.99 vehicle, not a $30.00 shelf hogging one. The disturbing part is that the picture is of the 1/32nd version again. Do we have to wait another frackin year now?

Did anyone else notice the new figures? They appear to be Modern Special forces.

Ok, that's what I get for not checking the site myself before I post an eye rolling response. The Stryker is still there and it's an AAV, not an LAV, which while it looks like a floating storage container, it's still a nice addition and not done before in 1:18.. :D

Oh and check out the M109... Very interesting.. Probably a 2012 release, but interesting.. ;)

Doesn't look good for the Stryker. Foxhole toys has it listed as "Possible cancelled or delayed". On the bright, it looks like their making some new Navy Seals.

It still may be coming out. The website just may have not updated it yet. If you look, there are plenty of things that are out now and have been out for 2 years that are not on the Unimax website. Such as the many 1:72 scale stuff.

I'm with pcsguy88, I don't like the BBI LAV-25, the Unimax one will be a lot more better, just like the Abrams. I just hope the Stryker wasn't permanently axed through, but there is some truth to it, nearly all Targets in SoCal don't carry the Abrams, only select important cities like Glendale and Buena Park do..

Crap, they're re-using heads again for most of the Navy SEALs and Delta Force figs.. ahhh :?

Regarding the SEAL and Delta Force figures. Good luck to you all when they hit the pegs. When they hit the store, it's ON baby!

Seriously, I really want these figures.

I am sure they will make a few hundred thousand, so everyone should get their chance to a own a couple (or couple dozen).

I wonder if they'll let you trade in those IJ figures on them
