New r/c plane. Best Raptor to date. A bit small. About 1/19.

Airframe only should cost around $100. Airframe only means without all the r/c junk. Plane will still come painted and with decals.

I just noticed there is a pretty nice looking Mig 29 at the bottom of the page. It's about 1/17. I know nothing about it; first time i've seen it.

Is this another styro ? It has panel lines at $100 this is something that I can work with. At 1/19 scale I can do a few little tricks to bring it up to 1/18 scale.

A true 1/18 scale would be 41.38 inches in legnth and the wing s. would be 29 inches. This model is 27 inches by 40 inches. I can definitly work with this.

yes virtually all the planes i show are styro....and they all have panel lines these days. I don't think i've bought one that didnt'.

The Raptor is 1/18.9 scale and the Mig 29 is 1/17.15 scale. So both are within my acceptable scale range. However, it does mean i will end up with a mig which is the same size as the F22, when in fact it should be noticably smaller (about 8%). However, i decided long ago that if scale purity is of paramount concern, this is not the hobby to be in.....there's just far to little selecton. Something like 1/32, 1/48 etc would be a better hobby if scale purity is high on the list of concerns.

So i'm sacrificing a bit of scale purity in order to have huge models. An agreeable trade off..
