as i said, bbi has an a-10 ready to go and have had for a while now....this is no secret. They just need a big order for it, which i don't think will come, given the current economy. As a result, it may well just wither and die on the vine, which would be a shame, because it was a beauty.

But it's nice to know that AT wants to do it and so, there is hope that some day, we'll see it from somebody. It's also nice to know that BBI and AT are communicating somewhat as it may lead to some form of cooperation, or at least prevent the duplication we have seen so far from different companies.

Well Aferguson. You have been saying this for a LONG time and here is your back up to what you have said.

gee, i was just making it up too.....ain't that lucky.

bbi has/had some really delicious 1/18 projects on the go. Sadly, i don't know if any of them will ever see the light of day. I doubt it somehow, but boy they had some juicy stuff.

I'm taking it as positive news from every angle.

Just got to keep the faith it will happen someday...bbi, 21st, Admiral, or someone new.

Well I give it 3 years to come to light.

Awesome news, not only on the A-10 front, but also the F-4 front. I can be patient for either one. Frankly, I think some of the 'stimulus' plan should be funneled into these two projects, or at least for the A-10 (a little pork for the warthog? Sorry, that was bad).

Thanks for the news.

You would think it would be in the best interests of these companies to communicate more and produce projects around each other. I would really like to see some of these companies share resources for a bit to make sure the hobby doesn't die. Obviously they are businesses, but they want to stay in the business of making money. I'm sure they could still do that with some cooperation...

OK wishful thinking, but still. There is always room for hopeless optimism. :P
