I just saw the new Adolf Galland plane and was wondering if the landing gear locks or is it still like the old E version that goes up when you land it. Whats new about this pane anyways.

I thought it was the same as the origional E version. I only have the origional, so cannot speak with complete accuracy, but from what I could observe on a Galland ME-109 that I saw boxed, it appeared to be the same plane as the origional - save a different paintjob.

Some small stuff I've noticed; the newer 109's like the Galland, finally have some dihedral built into them. Also, the pilot now sits at a better angle. I think 21st C improved the seat angle, but I'm not positive.
I'm using the very first two 21st Century 109 releases for my comparison of these differences. However, I know the original poor dihedral situation on the 109’s has been corrected since (at least) the Winter model.

You have to be positive! The newer 109Es all come with the large pilot, which couldn't fit in the cockpit of the origional 109E without a seat modification. On my origional 109, I had to remove the seat and shave off the peg on which it sat so the big pilot could fit.
