I just moved my Avenger model to a new location. With the wings folded, I was able to fit it on my desk. How do you guys display this large model? I would really like to see some pictures of your Avenger models if that is possible. I guess most guys have them hanging from the ceiling. Thank ya bunch!
Fred, really looking forward to the JSI 1/18th scale Grumman F-14 Tomcat.

Mine is hanging over the TV in the living room with a P-38 escort. Sad part is the P-38 is a Pacific paint scheme and the Avenger is Atlantic, but only people on this board would ever notice that!

B-29, that looks cool. What are you using to hold your Avenger model? Did you make that?

I made it. It's just bent steel tubing with rubber caps on the ends.

Pickelhaube's attic = 21st Century's OTHER warehouse. At this point, I suspect it's fuller, too!

In the garage with most of my XD for now.
My buddy has his Atlantic Avenger on top of his refrigerator. It takes up the whole top with the wings out.

You can just barely see the nose of mine buried under and behind the F-104s, Corsair, P-47s, P-51s, and the ME-262.

Mine's hanging from the ceiling by wire. I never had much problem with wing sag or anything.

My Avenger hangs on my ceiling in the "place of honor" (the most visible spot in the room when standing in the door). I have it displayed as if on a torpedo run: figures are at their stations and the bomb bay is open, with torpedo in place.
Currently, I have my "Bunker Hill" Avenger on display, though I sometimes swap it out with my "Flight 19" Avenger. When it is that plane, the setup is the same, save that there is an alien visible in the radio compartment behind the cockpit

Mine hangs in my airplane room. Like tman's mine is one of the first things you see when you walk in the room. Right after the jolly roger of course.

I fly cartoon airplanes
