Yep, there's some type of "blammo" extra discount on multiple purchases for some of these. The pak40 ends up being only $8 if you buy a few of them.

are these real? it may sound too good to be true?

uh... sounds like lots of people have dealt with em, especially recently, reading other threads and posts. Someone said they had a similar sale last year, too. Seems like everyone and their grandmothers' got one or more of their ss sets this time around. I sent them a money order yesterday for a panther.

They're 110% legit. I've bought from Monkey Depot several times over the years and always been happy. I had a huge order last week that was delivered right away.

I ordered an SS set last week $19.06 with shipping and over the weekend I ordered 2 Panthers at $24.95 each, All have been shipped.......so any day now.

I saw the SS sets went up to 27.95 and then went out of stock again.

Where do you guys see the inventory level of an item? Can't seem to find it anywhere.

MD and their prices are legit. We are just used to seeing "special reserve" sales at other places with triple and quadruple MD's prices.

People are just seeing how many of any particular item they can get into the shopping cart.

Keep in mind that this may not be accurate, however. Many vendors, myself included, have software specifically designed to obfuscate inventory level snooping.

I just ordered a pair of Panthers plus a couple 1/32 pieces for a coworker and the total was $100 shipped - Just a single Panther would be about that with shipping most places!

I guess I am just spoiled, since I have more 1/18 armor than I could ever display indoors. My S1 Panthers I bought some time ago, so they were much cheaper, along with half dozen Tiger tanks. It just keeps accumulating! Not that I mind, but spousey wants to know "What are you going to do with all this?"
