Good price, but $22.50 as the cheapest shipping option just kind of rubs me the wrong way.
Kinda like on Ebay...

But that's just me. If everyone jumps on the "private reserve" bandwagon then this will look like a steal.

GRILLEDCHEESE:

The cheapest shipping to me was $15.60 to Houston for a total of $35.50. Badcat has the Petie 2nd for $71 excluding shipping.

I already have three 1/18 Mustangs--Cripes A' Mighty 3rd, Big Beautiful Doll and Donald Duck, but Petie 2nd has a lot of history and great nose art, so I ordered one.

For those who don't visit the 1/32 posts, Monkeydepot has the 21st Century 1/32 Marder III for $4.95.

And S4 Panther's for $24.95!!!!!!!!!!!!! Got one!!!!!!!!!!

At already crazy cheap prices why would anyone expect discounted shipping? :? GC if you need a Petie I'd jump on it, 42.95 is still cheaper than if TRU were to have one at $44.95 + tax + some gas money for the car to get there. That's old WM pricing with tax.

Nothing like ebay, those fools expect sellers to discount the hell out of shipping or better yet offer free shipping. Which btw the USPS upped it's rates again last month and the others always follow suit. Plus with criminal fees most sellers lower their prices to keep fees down and increase the shipping so they don't totally lose their shirt in the process but since Paypal nails you for the whole amt that's not such a good idea either. Can't blame them, exactly why I don't list expensive stuff their anymore. Now the guys that charge a 5-10 dollar handling fee on top of shipping, yeah that's stupid..

Great, I picked up an S4 Panther also, plus an SS set (great Christmas gift for my dad. Planning ahead!)!

By the way, is the Petie P-51 one of those with the bad (deformed) prop blades, or is it a good one?

Ordered the 1:18 Panther, the Marder, and the other black and green Marder for 7.95 since I missed it at Target.

They didn't have the Panther last sale.

Thanks for the heads up! I finally picked up some armor. I've wanted a german piece for a long time and this price was too good to pass up. Nice to see they have the SS sets still for $20! that's still an insane price for 16 figures. Who's gonna make Nazi troops like this again?

VMF214:

Thanks a lot for the Panther info---I ordered one. I've been looking for a Panther for a long time.
Last year I got a 21st Century 1/18 Tiger I for $33 from Monkeydepot. I wish they had the FOV 1/16 King Tiger-Peiper at clearance prices.

At Badcat, the Panther is $79.99 and the Marder is $30.

This is crazy.. Thanks guys.

Shipping is outrageous though. Must be some sort of deal where they are required to charge a certain amount and are making it up on shipping or something..

Shipping to my work in Dallas was $13.00 for the Panther. It doesn't seem too bad. Fed Ex home delivery is more expensive than sending it to my business. BTW, thanks dragon53 for the heads up!!!

I agree  I've got no room for the S4 Panther, though I do like the price even with shipping.

The price for the "Petie 2nd" P-51 is excellent , even with the high shipping. I like that particular scheme, but it does have the bent prop blades that the early "retooled" P-51s all had.

Their prices are GREAT - TOO GREAT!
But the shipping kills it for me. They are based in Arizona, so shipping to you in California wouldn't be too bad.
I would love to get the Panther and P-51, but my XD funds are dry at the moment...
If anyone can get these items shipped cheaply to them - I would gladly do some trading with you!
PM and let me know.

I was all set to order the "Petie", untill the shipping was more than the item. I've sent items all over the country that were bigger than a Stang box and spent a hell of a lot less. IMO it is not that great of a deal.

interestingly by the time I factor in shipping to New Zealand, it costs about the same as their normal prices (well...before shipping went way up - it used to be about $45US, now its about $65US)
