early military weapons from papo

Post by aferguson » Wed Jan 28, 2009 4:40 pm

Papo, the french toy maker, has some potentially interesting stuff coming out this year. A giant arrow catapult (forget the real name at the moment), a medieval cannon and an egyptian war chariot. These will be quite close to 1/18, like there other figures and accessories......similar in size to the schleich and bbi knights, romans etc.

No pics yet but they should be up soon. You can watch here for updates:

Just do a search in Google Images for "Papo Chariot!"
Pretty nice!

the papo roman chariot is not so hot....bbi's is better. Their new stuff is quite good though so the egyptian chariot should look nice. I hope they come out with archer and driver figures for it. I'm also looking forward to the medieval cannon, if done well it could be very cool.
