Hey,
I'm going to this and taking my grandfather probably on Sunday! I was to this show years back but know it is a pretty good show so I am def going to enjoy going. I forgot it and missed it last year.
I am hoping to pick up a few train accessories to work with my stuff. Maybe I will see some of you guys there. Must admit, I like the racing expo this place puts on a lot better though!

Corey:
You bring up a problem I have mentioned. How would you know if we're there. Alot of us can't make def plans to meet, sometimes the "real" world interferes with our plans and we can't make a show we want to. My sugestion is to wear something like the "Ultimate Soldier" hat pin I wear on my hat.
Or we could come up with a card we could download and print and we could pin it to our shirts. That would identify us to each other. So then we could say "Howdy".
My personal favorite idea would be to strap a 1/18 P-38 or Tiger to our heads as we walk around then you could identify us all.

Sorry, maybe that's not such a good idea......I get carried away.

I'm planning to go on Saturday, but things are still a little up in the air (it's a 3 hour drive each way for me...)
I just bought a new camera, so I might try to do the show and hit a couple museums in Philly to try out my newest gadget...

If anyone is going and planning to make a small trip out of it, one exit down on the pa turnpike (east towards new jersey) is a nice small museum that houses a fully restored Me-262. It's the museum at willow grove Naval Air Station. They have some other cool stuff there too, some more planes and lots of models inside, and yes, they even use some Xd planes as well!

Hi Everyone,
I was just thinking that this hobby show should do quite a business from people locally because there aren't that many good, solid hobby shops around my area (Lehigh Valley). So guys who need stuff should really be happy to see this show.
I know I am looking to pick up some much needed train backgrounds and possibly some figures if anyone is selling them. I kind of hope someone is selling some Corgi 1/32 Spits there. I have yet to see one and the Spit is a favorite of mine so I might pick one up. I do have to stop by 21st's booth as well.

I dont think any one is selling at this show. It may be like the NYC toy fair
bot strictly hobby and not toy barbies and doll houses. Its probally a show for the hobby shop dealer. Thats just my guese.

According to the website:
Products will be available for sale at the show!
Friday is for people in the "trade" only (i.e. manufacturers, buyers, retailers)
Saturday and Sunday are open to the public.
I doubt it would be open to the public if they weren't going to sell stuff...
Admittedly, I'm leaning toward not going, but that's more because of money (and having just completed two purchases from members here) and a six hour drive (three hours each way)...
