New BBI Paras

Post by olifant » Mon Jan 05, 2009 5:32 pm

I bought the four new BBI paras and think they are fabulous. One large complaint though: I cannot get their harness over their gear and the parachute over the harness. I have broken necks, tried doing it with the legs detached and every other way under the sun and cannot get the @*%#! figures together. Anyone else in the same boat? If I am frustrated I am sure 10YO Johnny is really pissed!

I don't have the figures (though they have come out in my area) but it may not hurt soaking the harness in hot water for a minute or two. That will soften the plastic and perhaps make the harness easier to put on

What Tman said, and be sure to take their heads off whenever that will help.

Thanks guys but hot water was part of the process. I just gave up and figured they would be foot infantry for me. :?

I found one Airborne trooper with the thompson...what the hell was I thinking when I passed on these? I was stupid...stupid...stupid!!!!! Best figure I have seen in a long time.

Plastic is brittle on the hand pegs...I broke one of the skin hands when I pulled it out to replace with the gloved hands...use HOT Water to avoid my mistake.

I hope I can find more.
