Hurricane is boring and doesn't sell - I wouldn't hold out hope for that one (please don't bombard me with comments on the plane's significance, I know it played a huge role in the war).
A Mosquito - now that would be bad-ass and is very feasible. I hope someone tackles that one

I agree- In my conversations with 21st the Hurricane while widly used in the war just doesn't hold the interest for most fans like a mosquito or Typhoon might. But who knows. Anything can happen. When It comes to new brittish planes I would place my bets on a Mosquito or Typhoon before a Hurricane. -Just my guess.

I don't know what's boring about the Hurri. Read the memoirs of those who flew it, they were disappointed at first but grew to love the plane as a stable gun platform whose sturdy construction would take a lot of battle damage and continue flying.

Wasn't it the Hurricane that was notorious for burning pilots as the pilots tried to bail out? My old man (a mosquito pilot)told me that, and that there was a town in England where they were sent to recover, with no mirrors anywhere.

Roy told me the same thing when i asked about a Hurricane. He said it was too dull to sell well. But you'd think with 21c's fetish for repaints a Hurricane would be an ideal choice. It was in every theatre, used throughout much of the war and as a result wore a wide variety of paint schemes. Also, structurally it changed very little making repaints even more feasible.
Still compared to a Mosquito, Spitfire or Typhoon it lacks visual sex appeal and that is what sells these planes at WM as much if not more than history.

The Typhoon would be one hell of an eye-opener, athough, you wouldn't get any sort of variety of paint schemes out of it since it was strictly a one campaign plane. You could change squadron letters and that's about it!
The Mossie is a different beast! That plane could go on and on with different schemes:
Black Nightfighter
Photo Recon (RAF)
Photo Recon (USAAF)
Pacific silver
Standard RAF Camo
I'm sure there's more out there, but you get the point. These are very different from eachother.......

The Typhoon is such a badass looking plane with its muscular lines and beefy cannons, its prowess in the role of Tankbuster was incredible!
The only Military Miniatures of the Typhoon that I know of are just coming out now, from a diecast company called IXO. They are in 1/72 scale. Check out the 1/32 forum for more news on this.

A Mosquito would be very nice. They're doing the Avenger, why not?

I'll take a Mosquito AND a Typhoon! These are by far my favorite British planes. I would buy a Hurricane if it were produced but I don't think it would be at the top of my list.

Damn it Mr Football!! That would look just too damn cool!! If they got the gear right, it would be the best of the lot......
I'm fortunate to have seen the world's last Typhoon at the RAF Museum. It doesn't look a shade smaller than a P-47! I am a lucky man....

Hey Mr. Football: Is that Typhoon whose photo you so graciously supplied built from a model kit, and if so, what scale? A 1:18 XD Hawker Typhoon would be way cool. I believe it was largely Hawker Typhoons that slaughtered the retreating German divisions in the Falaise pocket in August(?) of '44.
