I went to 5 wm this week and all had their 21st stuff in the clearance aisle. They put matchbox cars where 21st stuff use to be
I asked one of the stockers if they were going to restock 21st he said no that 21st was not on the list of new stuff they are getting in.
Anyone have any news on this?

Well at least your WMs had something to put on the clearance isle.

Absolutely
zero 21st around here.

nothing at mine, some 1/18 figures..144 airplanes
No 1/48 No 1/32
I think 21st is dead..and as ,much as I hate to see it..there are better companies on the horizon that can do a much better job making our toys...they may cost more. but they will be way better than the mass-market stuff 21st put out.
So clink the glasses and salute the company's job and if 21st can return to the market..well I'd be surprised.

None of the walmarts in my area have had any 21st stuff since August. I think we need TKO to give us some intel.

Strange. I've never seen 21st in a Target - only FOV.

Sorry, what I meant was not in the original 21st packaging. I don't count the 4 Star Military boxes since that was ostensibly a trial run in select markets and shouldn't have been in all Targets nationwide - yet.
But even so - I've never seen 21st in any form in Target in either the Orlando or Atlanta metro areas[/b]

It's hard to guess what Walmart is doing. I see those little sheets hanging up in the toy isle for the reset with 21st Century Toys for restock.
Yet at some Walmarts they are not carrying them at all.
I drove out of town the other day to a Walmart though and hit the jackpot in 1:32.
Found a P-40, P-47, two Spitfire's, two Firefly's, Opel Halftrack, and a Marder III. All were on sale for $9 a piece.
My guess is that some are getting the tail end of some old stock.
I think I'll go on another trip to scope out some of these outlying Walmarts.
When you can buy these for a little more than the price of an action figure, it feels good.

It does indeed. I got a second Brummbar, the tan one with blotched-camo schurzen for 9 bucks, under a pile of the usual Porsche KTs and grey Panzer IV Ausf. Ds. I almost didn't look, either.

I haven't seen the white reset sheets around these WMs, but all of the 1/32 stuff was $9.00. they still have some stuff 88 flak, howitzer, long tom, wirbelwind, mobelwagon, sturmeschutz, brummbar, and others. But the 1/32 playsets are not discounted. They will be reseting the toy department in a couple of weeks. I guess we will find out then.

I dont think 21st is dead. I just got a new whole sale price list from them today, and they still have a lot of items in stock. It may be that Walmart is just not buying from them any more.

We'll probably find XD at WM's although not every store will carry them. I'm almost certain the 1/18th XD items will not be carried but the smaller scales will still be found. Our local WM's clearanced out their remaining 1/18th items but still have the smaller scales on the shelves.

Last night I bought four of the newest U.S. figures, (two .30 cal gunners and two sharp shooters), and one of the German assault riflemen.
I saw more of these figures before Xmas. That same WM had three pegs stocked with a varied amount of that wave. I didn't have the money at the time, but I did last night...so, I looted them.
Now, out of the three WMs within 10 minutes of my home, that's the only one that has had ANYTHING -- and it was new, to boot.
So...I dunno about "dead." Maybe slowed down?

All 5 WMs in my area have all 21st marked down and removed from the diecast car area. Not much remaining.

if wm was smart they would place them next to the GiJoe - they would sell a lot faster -

We've seen this cycle almost every year since their relationship with Walmart began. The product all goes on clearance, shelf space removed, etc.. Then a few months later, it pops back up. Sometimes it's the clearance product going back on the shelf at full price, and sometimes it's newer product.
Time will tell..

Or just keep XD stocked like the Corps keeps their stuff stocked-all year round!

I go to WalMart and all I see is The Corps figures. Futuristic, steroided figures that have nothing on XD. What gives? How can those take up so much space and XD not? They even have vehicles that are way subpar, making Bravo Team look like BBI.
