Best I can tell, this is a !/16 RC model scheduled for future production. Pic is from an international hobby show in Germany. There wasn't a whole lot of info with the photo.
1/16 is really starting to take me over. Just tired of waiting for 1/18. Bought a Matorro King Tiger and a Trumpeter T34/85 in the last week.

Well, doesn't look like the link is working for some reason. Looks good though if you could see it.

I think that these were only paper Panthers. I do not think that a prototype was even built. But it does look cool.

That's true, this is a paper panzer named Coelian. The prototype turret was made of wood and mounted on a Panther ausf.G. It has been captured by the US troops at the end of the war.
The Coelian project has been stopped by Speer in late january 1945. The armament was supposed to be a zwilling 3,7mm flak 44. Later a zwilling 5,5mm flak 58 was proposed to replace the zwilling 3,7 but never see the light of day.

Who cares if it never saw combat. Still an awesome looking vehicle.

Awesome find!! When it's available over here I'll have to get it. Since I'm out of ground space either the "Mato" type Pershing or Leopard II will have to go. Not that happy with either one so it will be a major upgrade.
Thanks for sharing.

BTW
This would be a crazy easy custom to make. I was going to but the fact it was not real stopped me from making it. I could have the master made in about 2 days. If anybody wants one made in 1/18 scale let me know. I will make the turret and guns only. You can use your Panther and you can paint it the same color as the one you have.
there is that new Panther out so they are readaly available.
If there are about 5 guys who are interested in it I will do it. This will be way easier than my Wirbel and I already have prints for it.
LET ME KNOW !!.

The Ostwind would not be as easy as the Flak Panther and there were only a couple of guys who were interested in it when I posted the last time about the flak panzers. I already have a leg up on the Ostwind it uses the same gun as my Stuka cannons. Because of the difficulty in the Ostwind I would need 12 guys who would want the Ostwind and then I will do it. The price would be the Same or CHEAPER THAN THE WIRBELWIND .
The Flak Panther will be cheaper yet I think.

The 1/35th modelers eat up those paper panzers! At least this one went as far as being mocked up.

If you kind of squint when you look at it, it could be a metal turret and not wood.
