If it's even close to scale $300 ain't bad at all. Where did you get the price info from?

Kawai apparantly does alot of train stuff and small scale diorama accy's. I think I may actually have some aircraft kits from them come to think of it...

hm.....i'm quite skeptical at the moment. Why only 1000 pieces? And if it's $300 that's not bad at all. It's probably just that paint scheme that is limited to 1000 pieces, with others no doubt to follow. I'm still skeptical.

Hopefully someone didn't misinterpret a "yen" price tag and forgot to add the extra zero...

 ..... Holy cats! Finally something worth coming out of hibernation for!!!! (Hi everybody!)

With all of my surplus XD funds from the past six months burnin' a hole in my rear, I wouldn't care if this thing was pushing 500 bones.

If this F-14 does actually see the light of day, I will have (at least) one. Image

Seemed to work for me...... it shows a pre-order price of 26,820 yen, just shy of $300.

Works for me too. Though the F-14 is not my favorite Jet I'll pick one up for sure.

if it's close to accurate scale, I am in. And I see the article was posted by our own Shin Densetsu (he posts a lot on 1/32 and smaller forum), so I give it some credibility.

i wonder if any of our north american retailers are aware of this?

Any idea how much shipping is? I bet it's $100 for something this big coming from Japan.

This thing will be a monster. About 50% bulkier than the bbi f-18. Huge box, heavy and huge (again).

Andy! How is the new pad? Hope you and the girls are settled in and ready for Santa. Don't forget to notify the big guy of your new address!

According to the website, it is available for pre-order.... Hmmmmmmm, should I?

That's pretty cool, although I wouldn't have expected a company called Kawai Toys to be making realistic 1/18 Tomcat.

From what I can tell in the poor pictures of the cockpit it looks way under detailed...but that might just be a 1/32 scale aircraft
