I'm curious to know what kind of 1:18 scale aircraft collectors would like to see produced. Try and keep it reasonable, as in something that there's a legitimate shot at actually being done. I'm sure a lot of us would like to see a 1:18 B-17 or B-25 (maybe sold in sections, lol), but that probably ain't gonna happen.

I'd personally like to see a P-61, which would stretch the size limits of 1:18 producibility. Even though it wasn't a terribly important aircraft, insofar as the Allies could've done without it, it was a very unique aircraft nonetheless.

Also, a 1:18 F-14 would probably get me into collecting modern aircraft. I don't know if that would be a good thing though.

B-25

A B-25 really isn't out of the question size wise - especially if you're talking about a Tomcat. I think I'd buy either :D

I would personally like to see an F6F Hellcat get done in 1/18th scale. This fighter has been forgotton and put in the back round by the likes of the Corsair and P-51 Mustang. Even though I'm a big fan of BOTH fighters neither one of them matched what the F6F did in WW 2: 19-1 kill/loss ratio, the most aces produced by any U.S Fighter. The F6F merits are second to none and its time this fighter gets the recognition it deserves. 21st seems to have NO interest in doing one and BBI? After the release of their excellent P-51D they have dropped out of sight when it comes to doing more WW 2 fighters and this would be an excellent time to follow up with the Hellcat. I may seem a little mad over this but I just think its time for the Hellcat to be built instead of seeing endless streams of P-51s, Spitfires, Luftwaffa fighters and Corsairs and those are just to name a few! The new Avenger is good to see now add the Grumman Hellcat 21st because they were stablemates on the Carriers you know. I would also like to see a Zeke as well. A 1/18th B-17 or B-25? I think thats wishful thinking but it would be very sweet to see thats for sure. Imagin the size of a 1/18th scale B-17? Jesus Pete!

Ok I've ranted enough..................

"...this would be an excellent time to follow up with the Hellcat." - Agreed :D

"...think its time for the Hellcat to be built" - Agreed :D

I don't know if it would sell but it should be done....

I agree its time to see not only the Hellcat produced but the Wildcat and Dauntless as well. But still my all time want for an aircraft is an A-10, I'm not convinced it wouldn't be a good seller. I've given up on 21st doing it but BBI? Hope so.

My wish list would include the century series planes (F-100, F-101, F-102,F-104, F-105, and F-106) as these have always been some of my favorites. Needless to say I was pretty excited when I found out about the 21C F-104. I doubt they will do the whole century series as I think some of the planes probably wouldn't sell that well and they are kind of on the big side.

I would also suggest the MIG-15 and F-86, but some of you guys say this is already in the works.

I would also like to see:
Skyraider
F9F Panther
F-84 (F variant would be coolest, but straight wing G would be good too)
A-26 Invader (my favorite twin engine attack bomber, one with gun nose and one with glazed nose)
F6F Hellcat or F8F Bearcat
A6M Zero
A-4 Skyhawk
F-4 Phantom
F-80 Shooting Star

I could probably go on forever if I think about it, but those are some of the ones that came off the top of my head. It would also be nice to see more variants of planes, similar to the razorback and bubbletop P-47s. Maybe a P-51C to go along with D model or an FJ Fury along with the F-86

A FAMO and Mosquito would be at the top of my list.

How about the good'ol F-15 Eagle?

F-14 Tomcat
F-15 Eagle
F-22 Raptor

maybe a Prowler as well.

The A-10 is and always will be number one on my wish list. I believe it would be a great seller and it's a must have for modern day fighters.

I know these have been rumored, but until I see one in hand I'm gonna keep asking for a FW-190 A series and a ME-262.

I still think a B-17 would be doable. Make the fuselage in sections (just like the real thing) and sell them that way. If all you want is the cockpit area then that's all you need to buy. Make the sections so they would connect and maybe a hinge down the centerline so they could be opened (and possibly remove one of the halves). Make the wing in 2-3 pieces so it would fit a the smallest box possible. Make sections of the turret assemblies and make a FULL crew.

You guys know I am not a plane guy but I would buy any of the many models of the B-25 and would also buy any or ALL of the models of the Mosquito....in a NY minute. An A-10 would also be in my bunker. I've waited over a year for my pre-ordered Avenger.

I'm a patient guy, but I don't think I'll live long enough for a B-17. :P :?

Just read Dubar.................a full crew in a B-17?? In 1:18?? Wow, the cost would be like a Tamiya RC tank.

I'm getting lightheaded just at the possibilities.

HOLY COW  ..... Someone other than myself would like to see a USCG helo produced? I'm with you on the HH-65 Gunner! I too would like to see an SH-60B or HH-60J brought to the market. Only thing is, after all the work I've done on my SH/HH-60 conversions it would be a little too late for me. :?

My want list:

Any modern helo
A-10
A-6
A-4
F-4
F-14
F-15

Of course, if someone produced a B-17, well, twist my arm!

I LOVE the USCG helo color scheme! Seems like a no brainer for a BBI re-paint to me, but what do I know...

I was one of the guys who pushed Mark at Patches of Pride to do a USCG decal set for the 21C little bird.

Haven't done mine yet, but maybe this year...

I have a grey one that I need to put my USN decals on (also from Mark) and a Yellow one that has most of the AT decals on it. I think I'll finish it, find my disassembled helo box and start on my USCG project at last...

I'd love to see some pics of yours!

Heck, even if nobody made the B-17 I'd still like to see a full crew offered!

Has anyone mentioned a Mosquito?
