New Zero up for pre-order at Burbank's House/Hobbies $55.99

Post by ExC17load » Thu Dec 04, 2008 7:20 am

Hey all, the new Tainan Zero is up for pre-order at Burbank's House of Hobbies for $55.99. This is the best price I personally have found, though there may be better out there. This is the guy who sold the new BBI desert Bf-109 for half of what BCA did for a short while. Great guy to work with.

Thought I would post in case someone was interested.

That is a good price for the Zero - and he sold the BBI Bf-109 for cheap? I have ordered from this company before (the MRC 1:72 scale Stryker IFV). I will vouch that this is a good business. Those of you in California and the west coast will have cheaper shipping charges, obviously

Yeah, evidently he had a handful of the BBI Me-109 and sold them for $35 each untill he sold out, which took only about an hour or maybe less. Talking to him, he said he had never sold like that before. He is a good guy to deal with.

Good price. I converted my order for some Solomon's Zeke's over to Sakai's at MTS. Sure wish I'd new about Burbank's deal on the 109...sweet deal! :(

At that price he was selling them for significantly less than cost. Clearly, the price was dropped either as a loss leader or to liquidate inventory to raise cash. While members here may enjoy that, it does not bode well for sustainability of the hobby if you know what i mean.
