OK time for another peoples choice.
Here are some idea projects kicking around. It is no secret that me and the Woofer could be getting together on a 1/18 Hetzer tank. But here are some other choices to see what the populace would want.
American stuff will not be on the list because US stuff is not a good mover. Please make a choice from the list. How much wiil you be will to pay as well? Would you be willing to pay $225 and up ? All you armor guys need to anti up so your voice can be heard.
Also the T-34 will not be on the list because people will not pay for what it is worth.

I thought that the Japanese Tank would do better. It looks like the Hetzer has pulled to the top. Are there any other armor guys out there ? You need to vote please.
Aferguson likes the Italian tank. It is not on my list. I also forgot to put the Ferdinan/ Elephant on the list. There is no way to change the poll so armor guys need to post to let your voice be heard.
So if I could here is a pretend add on to the poll.

Italian tanks

Ferdinan / Elephant
If you have already voted just say so and put down your change.

Don't tell me that there is only 30 members who are interested in armor.

This can be done but the Tiger has been made already . By FOV and 21st Century. The mid production could be done. But it is more of the same .
I am talking about a compleatly new piece of armor

How About the Sd.Kfz 165 HUMMEL - seems like an often overlooked but widely used piece of German Equipment.

I went with the Hetzer, I just like that tank.
Anything new (German WWII) would be fine with me. An Elephant/Ferdinan would be very cool.

I put in for the puma, but the hummel sounds even better

I voted for the Puma, but I think an SU-76i would make a nice custom. Based on the Panzer III chassis, which the Soviet's captured in large quantities, some 1200 SU-76i's were made.

Who will be willing to pay at least $225 for a 1/18 scale T-34 ? $225 would be an absolute minimum. The tracks and all have got to be cast probably a unit of resin @36 . It went up. So that would be a minimum of $250 FOR AN UNPAINTED KIT ?
Anybody willing to fork out that kind of scratch for a T-34?
I do know that other Russian armor resin kits are selling for $350 plus in 1/16 scale.

Not sure but I think there is a chance of a 1/16 Hummel soon, so I best pick a Hetzer.

that is true but we don't have a really Good tiger Fov version is so-so mising outer set of road wheels 21st version is a hybrid of early mid and late war tigers.....

well I would love to see a The SdKfz 7 it's what is needed right now...there is nothing to tow the flak 88 with. besides you can also make the SdKfz 7/1 - 20mm Flakvierling 38 (Sf.)

I say the Puma or the Type 97. I would have no problem paying $250 for a nice 1/18 custom vehicle.

OK ,

Brummbar or Hummel ?

They have a Brummbar in 1/32 so I would say the Hummel. Need something new, not just bigger Hetzers or Brummbars etc. If I already have one in 1/32nd, probably not going to pay $250 - 300 (painted and shipped  ) for a bigger version. I want new stuff. The Italian Tank, French Tanks, Type 97, Hummel, PUMA would be my first choices.

Seems like a more than fair price for a full custom 1/18 tank, considering the time and effort you would have to put in to build the thing from the ground up.

I know that there is a model kit that exists of a late war Russian tank similar to the T-34 in 1/18 scale. It was a small run kit that pops up on Ebay now and again, It comes in a wood box, but I cannot remember the company that made it. Could be a good starting point to save you some scratch build time.
