I want a T-6/SNJ
I want a T-6/SNJ
How cool would a 1/18th scale North American T-6 or Navy SNJ be? This plane trained thousand of pilots all over the world, and they are seen at countless airshows these days. Nothing looks, are sounds like a T-6 Texan, and I would love to have a nice model of one.

I have one....
I have one! Sort of....
I picked this up at an antique store today. It's a balsa control-line model of an A-6 Texan, powered by a Fox .15 engine. My guess is that it dates from the 1970's. It came with a hand-written note from the builder/Uncle to his nephew on how to fly it.
It has a wingspan of 31 inches, so technically it is 1/16.25 scale (wingspan of the real Texan was 42 feet).
It will look great
hanging from the ceiling with my 1/18 fighters!
